Wood-aluminium windows MINTAL passiv have brought onto the Slovak market a new product into the panelling segment for passive buildings. To verify the fullfilled conditions of suitability for passive buildings, the thermal-insulative features and frame construction were assesed and verified by the Passivhaus Institute Dr. Wolfgang Feist, Darmstadt Certificate. The frame construction and the door leaf guarantees significant and permanent dimensional stability without any defects such as leaves drooping following deformation of the hinges, resulting in long-lasting functionality and customers’s satisfaction. The traditional design of the wood connected with esthetically tailored surface of protective exterior alluminium panel mean no further maintenance and protection from weather conditions. The window is fitted with the latest so called hidden forging (without any visible hinges) by fy.Siegenia which have increased bearing capacity compared to other forgings. Furthermore, providing modern design and opportunities for long term lifespan even in case of big glass leaves. The window provides a wide range of opportunities in terms of type of wood, colour variations, type and thickness of glass.
